I know, it's deadly.
But this is also to lament possibly my last cigarette and coffee combo in a very very long time.
According to plans, I was supposed to be hypnotised to quit smoking by 8:30am in Central.
However, the PR responsible for this event decided to cancel our session with only one day notice. She didn't have our mobile so we weren't notified until we got there this morning. I have tried not to be biased, but up till this stage, my respect for PR as a normal occupation, is vanishing.
If you have been following my blog, you would know my recent encounters with bad luck is intimate. The "being let down by early morning assignment'' trend doesn't seems to be stopping any time soon. It's ok though. I actually find it quite funny when so many "bad things'' are jammed in the last two days. Things don't happen this way normally, so it guess it's not bad to be different from time to time.
The party last nite until 3am with excessive alcohol consumption leaving me with only 4 hours of sleep before the hypnotherapy. I found myself looking at the world with fresh eyes again when I was wandering around the streets after the forcefully given spare time.
Here is a list of things bringing me amusement in an early rainy Sunday morning, I would like to share them with you:
1. Nearly 200 people were lining up in Wan Chai when I thought there was a major horse racing event going on in town. But they were just lining up for some Sonny VIP game stations. On a sunday morning, don't they have something better to do like sleeping in or work for world peace?
2. While wandering around in search of my Chinese style breakfast, I found myself sipping a double shot mocha with chocolate cream and a ciggie later to compensate my craving for fermented eggs congee and rice noodle rolls.
3. Two bus drivers were kicking each for fun in Sau Kei Wan bus terminus.
4. An old man dressed in black kung-fu suit with long white hair and beard selling herbs by the Sau Kei Wan MTR station. May be he pratices Qi Gong everyday deep in the mountain and come out to sell herbs every Sunday morning.
5. An excited looking single-armed granny waving her another single arm while talking to a bunch of grannies in a park.
6. Singing Cantonese pop songs in the newsroom because no one else was there.
Unclog your senses and start living.
