how long has it been since I have last written anything meaningful here?
i guess it is the depression i got from work that stole my muse for leisure writing away.
I have been looking into how to paint a better atmosphere when it comes to feature writing.
i use my eyes to read,my mouth to ask, my ears to listen and my instinct to sniff around for anything unusual when it comes to reporting.
when it comes to feature writing however, the challenges to use a writer's senses are pushed to the limit.
coming from a hard news background,to tell a story with one's nose is gradually falling out of radar.
on my usual bus ride home tonight, i started to ask myself: If i'm to describe what it's like to travel in a hk bus to a foreign friend of mine(not that they would be interested in it anyway), how can i do better than --stupid KMB bus number 960 charging overpriced fares never offer enough seats to passengers is my only convenient gateway to a world where things actually happen--??
I could probably go on about: the smell of diesel and leather seats within a concealed moving compartment overcharged with passengers' body odour often makes one feel dizzy. As oxygen level gradually drops within your veins, a 45-minute journey from wan chai to tuen mun can be dull and sleepy. Tuen Muners are famous for dozzing on buses home displaying their assorted bedroom gestures to the public. One could easily find passengers snoring wide-mouthed with extra bonus: drooling saliva like mozzarella cheese. Neither would the Si-nais(uneducated housewives) be relucant from brocasting their "scholarly views" over domestic affairs and youngsters hooked on to their trendy two-plate video games forcing others to follow their street battles games with dolby surrounded sound effects, the mobile phone ringtones ranging from baby laughings to old women scraemings...blah blah blah
and this is when i realize how limited my english writing is and time for bed.

before sunset
片中漂亮的法籍女主角沒有脫俗的驚艷,一開始不久就和美國靚仔(the bastard who cheat on the super hot actrsss uma)在巴黎相遇重談九年前的韻事。

仍會持觀望態度的我,會等待我的下一期,still impressed by Muse's refreshing attitudes(which are still better than lots of other brainless teenage pop art trash) and their sammi cheng commentary(May issue) is really nice.
